shark week

Topshop; Givenchy; Asos; Black Milk

I don't have Discovery Channel, so I no longer participate in the hysteria that is Shark Week. I'm bummed, because I did watch it every year. Anyways, although Shark Week was several months ago, and summer is completely faded, let's do an homage to sharks. It might have been Givenchy's take on sharks, or it may be the hatred that summer is over, which ever one, sharks have been pretty popular lately. Some of my favorites are above. Don't you want to go swimming now?

i've been living for this cyber soul

Some pictures from this past week including the chandelier and part of the art deco mural at my local movie theater, the lovely late night cafe meal my friends and I had plus the macaroons that I ordered. Also my guitar that's like my other arm, you can also take a peak inside what I have lying around my room. Hats, hair products (the Charlotte Ronson for Sephora beach spray right there is literally my life line) along with a Nietzsche book and the endless shelves of shoes. Plus my new Black Milk clothing leggings that make me an official sharkie and my new nail decals from former featured designer Cha Cha Covers. Remember them? Still in love with their decals and their incredible long-lasting designs. Anyways, can't wait to order more decals and more leggings!

Black Milk X Jeffrey Campbell X Solestruck

So the insanely cool label Black Milk Clothing (which I've previously done a post on) has decided to collaborate with Jeffrey Campbell and with online shoe mecca Solestruck to create some pretty insane kicks. I'm in love with  the cosmic ones, of course, (plus they're real photos of galaxies via Nasa!), and personally I think the cosmic are the stand-out design. They are all popular Jeffrey Campbell designs, like the Lita, Night Lita and Damsel, which kind of makes this a perfect collaboration.

Black Milk Clothing

Remember that Steve Buscemi dress that caused a huge stir a few months back? Well, I actually was interested in buying it, and so I tracked down the clothing line (which was kind of difficult), and checked out their line. Black Milk Clothing was the brand, and the dress unfortunately sold out in a flash (after crashing their website, of course) but they definitely had a great selection to choose from. Bodycon dresses, leggings and swimsuits with brilliantly clever and ridiculously cool designs make the brand a name to remember.

Buy all these looks HERE.
