Aldo Spring Collaborations

Aldo has released a Spring collaboration they entitled "Rise". Honestly I don't know why when they are collaborating with brands that are well above the word "rise" but anyways, it's a bunch of insanely unique shoes at insanely cheap prices. The designers are JW Anderson, Mark Fast, Preen and Libertine. All the shoes have a great unique element to them that still represents each design house, respectively. I love collaborations that bring high end designers to everyday people and make them accessible to everyday people. Hopefully Aldo will do great with this collaboration and they will continue the trend like Target.

because you're mine, i walk the line

Charlotte Ronson

Theyskens' Theory

Rachel Roy

Marc Jacobs

Libertine

Some of my favorite brands that have shown so far from New York Fashion Week and some of my favorite looks from each. I love how Charlotte Ronson always appeals to that edgy, slightly hipster girl that wants to stand out of a crowd. Olivier Theyskens with his new collection for Theory seriously appeals with his all black, slightly pristine looks. Rachel Roy bringing out the inner prep-school style of a rock 'n roll chick while bringing out the inner rock 'n roller of a preppy girls style. Marc Jacobs mixing the completely random and insane with pieces that you will see EVERYONE wearing in another year (notice that buttoned shawl, so chic yet safe to appeal to the masses). And last, but definitely not least, the underrated Libertine continuing with iconic prints in new styles. Loving/hating the NYFW overload I've been experiencing. Hopefully I'll be in the spirit by the time Paris Fashion Week rolls around.

P.S. Happy Singles Awareness Day!!!
