You make me crazy, you make me wild

If last seasons were all about mute pastel colors and classic , this season is full of color, prints and use of different fabrics. Designers are encouraging us to play with fashion, combine looks, go outside the box and have fun. Just look at the last collections of Louis Vuitton, Kenzo and Fendi just to name a few. Here are some of the colorful street style photos.

unconventional prints

Floral prints are apparently way too overrated for this Spring. At least that's according to Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Jeremy Scott and Givenchy. Unconventional, quirky and fun new print patterns were seen all over the runways last fall and this may be something you may be seeing in Forever 21 and H&M any day now. Then again, I can't really imagine 14 year old girls running around the mall wearing chili pepper prints.

Muse Monday: Alison Mosshart

Alison Mosshart

This week's muse is the frontwoman of The Kills and The Deadweather, Alison Mosshart. Her fearlessly effortless style is all about sex, drugs and rock 'n roll and is all about mixing vintage with high designers.  With a uniform of shredded shirts, leopard print and tight jeans, she is a true rock fashion icon.

I'm really in love with the pajama wear as outerwear trend. I guess because I'm a pretty lazy dresser, and a pajama top is, ironically enough, one of those effortlessly looking pieces. Like a 'just throw it on' type of garment. These were a few of my favorite from this season. Hopefully it's a trend that lasts a little while.
