The show I look forward to the most out of all the Fashion Weeks has been Saint Laurent. Ever since they dropped the "Yves" and appointed Hedi Slimane as their designer, I've been in love with the collections. It isn't, however, the traditional Yves Saint Laurent everyone has been used to, but at the same time, what do you expect from Hedi Slimane? The new collection did have some lovely leather pieces and is much more androgynous than past collections, but overall, last season was better. And the season before that.

PFW street
Some of my favorite shots from Paris Fashion Week. Those retro, round sunglasses were everywhere. It is definitely one of those trends that is extremely "of the moment." Also very tailored pieces, which we've been seeing pretty much everywhere was the common outfit. I love the bell bottoms look that's starting to pop up too. Hopefully it's a trend we see more of, because I'm kind of over too-tight pants.

Muse Monday: Paris Fashion Week
So if you couldn't have guessed from last week, this week's Muse are the attendees of Paris Fashion Week. The street style from Paris Fashion Week is by far the best. All the girls that may have missed London or Milan or New York fashion weeks always come out to Paris Fashion Week. Whether it's the exposure or the shows like Chanel, Dior, Balmain, Alexander McQueen or Givenchy, no one misses Paris Fashion Week and everyone is looking their best. Their pictures can be seen on tumblr year round, and their style previews what everyone will be wearing in the upcoming seasons. The girls at Paris Fashion Week never miss a beat and are by far the best dressed of the season.

Extravagance vs. Simplicity in PFW
Here are some of the street style photos from on-going Paris Fashion Week. While some fashionistas kept it pretty simple and clean, others, including Anna Dello Russo, went more extravagant combining prints, patterns and textures. What's more appealing to your eye? Personally, I lean towards the extravagant side because I've been pretty bored with "normal" clothes lately. Anyways, stay tuned for more of the street style photos and runway reports!

paris in the springtime
Prada, Nicolas Andreas Taralis, Dries Van Noten, Rochas, Mugler
Some of my favorite looks from Paris Fashion Week, trying to avoid the obvious Chanel and Louis Vuitton. I decided to show more of the brands you might not know. Again, might. I was loving the shoes at Prada, shoes and socks are something I kind of adore, at least when done right. Then it was all plaids and flowers at Dries Van Noten, which has a special 90s place in my heart. At Mugler too, some favorite staples of mine: crop tops and leather, but definitely done in a different way. Some pretty amazing looks for next Spring.

Paris Fashion Week Street Style Pt. 3
The last, last, LAST of Paris Fashion Week street style. I love how most of the girls in the pictures are using one big Spring trend. Think mint, color block coats or the new slouch beanie. Very cool, and very expectant for Paris Fashion Week.

Paris Fashion Week Street Style Pt. 2
Paris Fashion Week is among us and the effortless style shown by the French and the fashion industry has been amazing. I mean, the fashion week style is always amazing, but the "je ne sais quois" thing has me going at it again.
