A couple of crazy/amazing accessories, all taken off the tumblr page. The 90s trend just keeps evolving, like at first it was very grunge, now it's very.....fuck I don't even know what to call it. But you know what I'm talking about. The bindi style face rhinestones, colored leopard print, clear backpacks, smiley faces and eyeballs on everything. If you still don't know what I'm talking about, google Chloe Norgaard or Niki Takesh and I'm pretty sure you'll get it. Still 90s though!

Coachella Outfit No. 3
With Coachella over for some, it's just around the corner for others, including me. The last outfit I will wear at Coachella was last minute because I bought it so last minute. I originally had another dress for day three, but returned that as the UNIF shredder dress became available. Last Fall, I took advantage of Topshop's swimsuit sale and bought these high waist bottoms for $20, and a black string top for $16. If it gets too hot, I can just take off the dress and run around in my swimsuit like most Coachella girls. I wanted to wear a lot of 90s accessories, so the hologram glasses and tattoo chokers seemed perfect. A dark lip, comfy chelsea boots and this Topshop backpack will complete my last look for what's supposed to be the hottest day this weekend.

Coachella Outfit no. 2
For day two of Coachella, I opted for something a bit darker and more rock 'n roll. The glitter tights are definitely a head turner, I've gotten a bit shy wearing them out to regular places just because EVERYONE stares! UNIF shirts are super soft and really baggy and airy, so they are perfect for keeping you cool. My black Dr. Martens I've had since I was 13, so they are perfectly soft and worn in and by far one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own. I'm a big fan of backpacks, and I have a few black leather ones that I plan to use. And of course, a refillable water bottle. Every year, the H&M tent gives free water, and we always make the long line. Water is ridiculously valuable at Coachella.

Muse Monday: Chloe Norgaard
This week's Muse is model Chloe Norgaard. Norgaard is known for her Rainbow Brite hair that's constantly changing. She's definitely a cool model with a laid back style and an attitude to match. Constantly photographed with friends like the Cobrasnake, you can imagine Norgaard is quite a party animal, which you kind of have to love. With has looks to kill and a ridiculously perfect 90s style, Norgaard catches everyone's eye. Norgaard is the type of girl everyone wants to be friends with, for the clothes and the wild parties.

Clinique "Black Honey"; Kate Moss for Rimmel; Maybelline "Deepest Cherry"; Vincent Longo "Gioelle Berry"; YSL "Rouge Pur No. 32"
I've been wearing dark lipstick for quite some time now, ever since Kate Moss first released her lipstick collection. Anyways, I didn't think it would be a trend that would go beyond 90s grunge kids, but NYFW, and more specifically, Philip Lim, have proven me wrong. Above are all brands that I own or have tried. Cliniques "Black Honey" is hands down the easiest to wear in the sense that the color fits any and all skin tones. Ask any Clinique girl, and they'll tell you Black Honey is the most popular color for that reason, however it's not as dark as you may expect. Kate Moss' lipstick is cheap and good quality. It goes on smooth, but fades quickly. Maybelline is also cheap in price, but dries out your lips. This, however, can easily be fixed by applying ample amounts of chapstick before-hand. The color is also really great and dark. Vincent Longo's color "Gioelle Berry"is a lot more plum and won't fit all skin tones, mainly darker. My favorite, though, is YSL's "Rouge Pur No. 32." I wear it whenever I want a flawless grunge look, and what's awesome about it is even as it fades, it seems to change color and have a different effect. It's not as moisturizing, but awesome because it can last you all day.
Oh! And don't put on a lot of make-up. Little to no eyeshadow, barely there blush and lots of mascara finish off the dark lipstick look.

DKNY X Opening Ceremony
It was announced a while back that Opening Ceremony would be collaborating with DKNY to bring back some of the brands early 90s pieces. The collection, which is a womens and unisex collection, was released late last week with Cara Delevigne starring in the lookbook. The collection has 14 items taken from DKNY collection from 1991-1994. All early 90s goodness. All of the pieces, except for one, are under $300, which is pretty moderate for an Opening Ceremony collaboration. Check out the entire collection HERE.

watching
I recently had a conversation with a couple people about watches in this new technological era. If you need to look at the time, you usually reach for your phone, whether or not you're wearing a watch. But watches are definitely here to stay and have become way more of a fashion statement than anything. I still buy and wear watches, and most people I know do too. Whether it's menswear inspired like the Michael Kors, baroque like the D&G, a really rad 90s design like the Moschino, or something vintage inspired like the Pulsar watch at the top, all of these designs are ridiculously awesome and have me thinking which one I would buy next. All of the watches above and a ton more are available at British Watch Company. They have a ton of different discount codes available each week and do free watch adjustments, which is pretty awesome.
Check out all the designs and British Watch Company HERE.

Lookbook: Now That's What I Call Fashion
My favorite store Wasteland has a new lookbook out that is totally rad, in a really weird way. I feel like saying its 90s themed is an understatement. Extremely 90s, is a bit closer to describing it. Neon, Lisa Frank, Hello Kitty, colored lipstick, everything about it just exudes that bizarre 90s look. Beyond the grunge trend that has been slowly creeping its way through, this is a bit out there.
