Muse Monday: Erin Wasson

Designer/iconic model Erin Wasson is this week's Muse. Why? We don't really need to explain why. But unless you don't know who she is, here ya go. She became famous by modeling for countless runways and campaigns and most notably being Alexander Wang's own Muse. Wasson has mastered the rock 'n roll look and it definitely shows in her many designer lines and collaborations, our favorite being Erin Wasson X RVCA. Constantly seen out and about in leather pants and a Wang bag, she really does exude this effortless rocker chick vibe. Like the girl you see outside the Roxy waiting for her musician boyfriend to come out. Now, she can add actress to her resume, she appears in the film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. While she continues to tackle and master every art form out there, we really can't wait to see what her next venture will be.

A trend I've been seeing lately (and could have the possibility of exploding in a few months) is the shopper/tote bag. I'm not talking about the canvas or cloth bags you take to school and they end up demolished in a few weeks, I mean structured, mature tote bags. It's the older sister version of the canvas tote bag, and some pretty rad designers have started releasing their versions. All I have to say is if Alexander Wang is making it, everyone will be wearing it.

My holiday wish list. I have three pairs of doc martens and I truly believe that you can never have enough. Not to mention they're supposed to last for the rest of your life! 

I've been really loving Rodarte more and more each season. They have this perfect romantic edge mix and I absolutely love this art-deco style hair comb. It looks like it could be a vintage piece from the 1920s.

Jeremy Scott is, however, my favorite designer and I try to get something of his each season. It really depends on the items though, as I do not have money to burn. Luckily for me his leggings are always moderately priced. 

I absolutely love chiffon, especially when used in that whole "censored"trend. T by Alexander Wang gets more and more intricate each season (remember when they started out they literally had about 5 plain pieces)! 

The skull scarf by Alexander McQueen is practically iconic and every year I try to make room in my budget to buy one, but Topshop and Opening Ceremony are too tempting, and in the end, they usually win.

Freja Beha: a new icon

Freja Beha Erichsen is a seriously busy model. She has done everything from ad campaigns to runways for names like Chanel, Valentino, Max Mara, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dior, Burberry, Alexander Wang, Prada, and pretty much any other massive brand name. Naming them all would just take up waaaaay too much space. I adore her rock n roll style and the fact that she has 16 tattoos all over her kind of cements that bad-ass reputation.
