This week's Muse is model/singer Irina Lazareanu. Lazareanu made her career by being handpicked by Kate Moss to be featured in the launch of Kate's Topshop collection as well as Kate's editorial in Vogue Paris. Since then, she has created quite the resume, modeling for Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Anna Sui, Versace and Balenciaga, just to name a few. Lazareanu has sang along with Pete Doherty and Sean Lennon and was supposed to release a collaboration album with Lennon, although that had been put on hold indefinitely. Last year in New York City, she played a benefit concert with Lennon, Charlotte Kemp Muhl and Adam Green (which had quite a fashionable attendance including past muses Kate Moss and Cory Kennedy). Lazareanu is known for her insanely cool 60s style, and has received attention from the likes of Vogue's Emmanuel Alt and Cosmopolitan's Michelle McCool, McCool even saying Lazareanu "has a great rock'n'roll vibe," which is why she is this week's Muse.
