This week's Muse is the lovely, androgynous singer Janelle Monae. Definitely the first thing that sticks out about this lovely songstress is her already iconic look: the traditional tuxedo but in an Yves Saint Laurent 'le smoking suit' type of way. In other words, why would you not love her style. A modern day Grace Jones, Monae is definitely climbing higher and higher. From being nominated for Grammy's twice, to recently being named Covergirl's new spokeswoman, Monae's name and face will be sticking around for quite some time. Whether she's channeling her alter-ego Cindi Mayweather, a Neo-esque woman from the future destined to save the world, you can't help but adore her. While Monae exudes talent, her down to earth attitude and killer classic style is what makes her this week's Muse.
